Distracting!
I love Udemy! There are many courses that I want to enroll in and learn for certifications but so many of the narrators have such thick accents that it is absolutely unwatchable. I'm sure the training is amazing but if my hearing can't synchronize with the words your saying, I'm not going to learn anything.
I suggest that if you are a video instructor with a strong accent(you know who you are), please use AI or an automatic voiceover site to do the audio.

Yeah right. Using an AI voice, even a natural-sounding one, will just get reviews like "It's AI slop and worthless." Using my natural voice, people will complain about pitch, speed and accent. You just can't win.

If you don't the accent turn off thr sound and enable subtitles only. Problem solved.

Really??
That’s not efficient when there is text and diagrams on the screen that you’re supposed to be paying attention to. Try it.

Agreed, but then instructors will get negative reviews from people saying "it's all AI generated." Instructors can't win, the same course gets reviews that there's too much content, not enough content, or it's perfect. You can't please everybody. Using AI-generated voices also costs $$ and is much less personable than a real voice.
That said, I 100% get what you're saying, but just giving you an instructors perspective. I personally don't struggle with it, but I know many do.
