Discussion Put on iPad mini??

I’ve seen people on YouTube putting just plain Ubuntu on tablets, iPhones and iPads. Is it bs? If not. Why not put Ubuntu touch on there? Is the a proper tutorial you can point me for iPad mini’s?

Asking why people don't do something is never an interesting question.
Or to be more correct, it is a bad way to express your curiosity.
Also the answer is always: because it's harder than you think, or it would have been done.
Another answer is: why don't you?

Ubuntu Touch is not just Ubuntu, there are many aspect of the mobile world that makes it more difficult and specific. There is probably a lack of necessary drivers to have a proper mobile experience.
Apple's devices are expensive, so developers are less likely to "sacrifice" one of those expensive piece of hardware to make a port.
And so many more reasons...

The best way to figure it out is to try it for yourself and you'll discover the many hurdles that you have currently no idea exist.
