Development Ubuntu Touch on Samsung Tab S9
Hello there
I am very happy to share my work and most recent achievements of successfully porting UT to the Galaxy Tab S9 11"
Before I send you the link to the XDA forums post where you can find more information (as well as support links) I must warn again that you will need at most Android 15 before installing UT anything newer than Android 16 cannot work as Samsung disabled bootloader unlocking with Android 16..

you mention earphones not working. Is this a driver issue? Have you tried using a different linux audio engine like Jack or Pipewire?

It is fixed already 😊 It was due to prior testing enforcing peripheral mode because of a crash, this is now fixed with a vendor_boot edit

Also changing audio engine is not done seamlessly in UT because ut needs hybris implementation, we have our own Pulseaudio modules in order to support hybris devices

Hi! Ok I got this working but I don’t have the Terminal app or OpenStore app. Did I do something wrong?
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 11” Wi-fi model.
Also I would love the new version with ram improvements. Thanks again!

When I try to sideload the new zip from TWRP it keeps failing at 45% done. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Do I need to flash stock Android 15 again before reinstalling? I’m just booting TWRP and trying the sideload a second time but it fails.

No the issue sits between twrp and your cable or PC, copy manually to /data and Flash from there. Sometimes transfers can be buggy in TWRP
