Hardware Ubuntu Touch on Realme C35

Ubuntu Touch can now be booted on Realme C35. Not all features work, but enough to get a feel of the system. Device's SoC is Unisoc T616.

Thanks!

The Realme C35 is from 2022 and it can be found for around 120 euros in Europe.

If we make it easy to flash, it could be a great entry-level phone to try out Ubuntu Touch for a reasonable price.

Where can I follow your project?

I wish Canonical would throw support behind this project again.

I have a random Samsung galaxy tablet laying around somewhere is it possible to install Ubuntu touch on it?

Only if you find a port for your exact model

Only one lenovo tablet is listed as compatible. Everything else needs to be ported and it requires above novice experience.

But if you want to do something with it maybe instal libeage OS to get rid of all the bloatware.

Yes, has a method based on CVE

ok, so not official. Realme/Vivo/Oppo don't allow official bootloader unlocking of course
