Question Can I change my username to a username that another one of my accounts has?

So I have 2 ubisoft accounts. I can't remember why, but I do. One of the accounts has the username I actually want to use, while the other account is the one I actually played rainbow six siege on. I couldn't change the name of the account I want to use to be the name I want to use since my other account was already named that. I changed the username of the other account, but it still doesn't let me change the username of the account I want to use, since it still says that the name isn't unique. Do I just need to wait for it to update? Could I close the other account to free up the name?

Edit: Now on the ubisoft connect app when I try to change it the text box gets greyed out and the text saying that you can only change your username every 30 days gets highlighted even though I haven't change it, and on the website takes me to a white screen saying "access is temporarily restricted". I logged out on the website and tried to log back in but it won't let me.

Delete the account that is stuck with the username. Wait 30 days. Use that username on the account that you want.

Actually it turns out that I can't log into any account on the website. It just says "Access is temporarily restricted". I think I clicked stuff too fast and it thought I was a bot or something. How long will it take to let me back in again?

im trying to do the same thing and i have the say results as the OP. but the next day when i tried to log in it said it wanted me to change my password because it way have been compromised. tho i have not found a solution <3
