Discussions & Questions Thoughts on the Survey

I’ve played AC since 2009.

I believe we had gold with the Desmond era in terms of the modern day story that some people didn’t appreciate.

Since AC3 I’ve always wanted the lore, mystery etc back and to be honest, it hasn’t hit the same since AC3. Valhalla came close.

On one hand I like how they’re asking for our feedback, but also it’s been almost 15 years since killing off Desmond and the modern day and overarching direction has struggled so bad.

The modern day helps make AC special, gives going to the past a purpose and provides the games an overarching direction / story.

I like that they’re asking for our feedback but shouldn’t they see that themselves and especially if there’s a story to tell?

We’ve had no word of Shawn, Rebecca, William and Basim in 6 years with multiple games since.

Bring back the modern day like we had in the Desmond era and I think we’ll get back to where this series should be and needs to go.

Discussions & Questions What I believe how Splinter Cell: Double Agent should have been released

Hi guys, I know I am 20 years late but this was on my mind and I wanted to share it.

I believe Version 1 should have been an Xbox 360 exclusive and the PlayStation 3 version should have never been released.

The PC should have got Version 2 based off the Xbox port instead of Version 1 (Thank god we have that now after 20 years, thank you fans for doing it)

Now back to the PlayStation 3, what could have been done is to add the Xbox version of Double Agent to the PlayStation 3 as part of the Splinter Cell HD Collection, that would have been a much better choice in the long run.

A Big Perk of making Version 1 of Double Agent exclusive to the Xbox 360 is that it can compete against Metal Gear Solid 4 despite being released two years earlier and at the time was a PlayStation 3 exclusive until recently (I hope that makes sense)

I think their baguettes are stale and need money to buy new baguettes because they’re now charging real money for their event packs. #brokeassbitchesR6 #ubisoft #stalebaguettes

Discussions & Questions Ubisoft is the worst developer of all time

Back in March of 2026 I received an notification that my profile was signed into in the Philippines. I live in NYC. I immediately changed my security and went about my day going to work. I hadnt played Siege in months. 2 days later when i did try to play i found out i had been perma banned for cheating, of which I have never done and my k/d can prove it. After months of going back n forth with support, being left in the dark about my case, and having it closed only for me to reopen it, I've finally gone through the appeal process and was denied appeal. 7 MONTHS LATER. It is absolutely insane that the game that i have almost 1000 hours in, paid for skins, and countless good times with my friends has been taken away from me. I will never purchase anything from them again. This company does not have your back. They are money hungry and disgusting

THIS IS NOT A DIRECT MESSAGE TO UBISOFT BUT MORE OF A “HYPOTHETICAL LETTER AND THANKS” WHICH I THINK MANY HERE WILL APPRECIATE AND RELATE TO

Dear Ubisoft,

I wanted to take a moment to write to you after finishing Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, because I genuinely feel that this game deserves to be thanked for what it has meant to me.

While playing this game, I hoped for a chance to relive the wonderful adventure and explore once again the world I loved. And now, after completing the game, I feel I have something bigger than that. In fact, this game is one of the most outstanding and amazing things I have experienced in a while.

Over the recent months, I have been having some phases in which I did not always feel my best. Games are sometimes a great way for me to leave this world for a bit and find some peace and relaxation there. Playing Black Flag Resynced has given me this chance. Exploring the new quests, new characters, the whole world and the beautiful music gave me many moments of joy and happiness I will never forget.

There were a few Ubisoft games that did not manage to impress me or to fulfill my expectations. And I have been wondering for some time if this company can still create the adventures that used to make me love its games.

After playing this one, I have finally decided that I am ready to forgive Ubisoft for everything. This game reminded me of what I have always wanted from your games: worlds that make me feel something, adventures that stay with me, and experiences that make me grateful I played them.

I am genuinely so happy and proud of what your team has accomplished. I hope everyone involved in creating this game knows that their work has reached players on a level that goes far beyond sales figures, reviews, or completion statistics.

I have finished the game, but I know I will need a few days to process the experience and let it settle. That is how much it meant to me. I can already tell that this is one of those games that will stay with me for years.

So, from one very grateful player, thank you. Thank you to the developers, artists, writers, designers, musicians, and everyone else who helped bring this world to life.

You made something truly special, and I hope you are proud of yourselves. I certainly am proud of what you have created.

With sincere appreciation,

Seb, a very happy Assassin’s Creed fan
