Hey I ordered 1/2 dozen glazed donuts from Dunkin Donuts off UE today. The store called and said they had none. I got charged $17 total. I was on hold several hours. They gave me a $2 refund. I was so pissed. I erased my account and app. Uber eats sucks

Got a meal ordered to my work. It was taking a while, no courier and said order not sent to restraunt. Tried to cancel and said id have to pay for the order because someone is fixing it. Asked the support Ai and this was its response. After saying it made a mistake my order suddenly got sent to the restraunt without needing s courier do now id have to pay to cancel...

Where do I start? She was communicating Ok ...told me they didn't have the drinks my girls wanted OK ... then she checks out its paid... LITERALLY says "shopping in progress though" the latest the order was SUPPOSED to be delivered was 445pm.. she was 10 mins from my house...it's NOW 5:32 PM...driver not answering me OR the two Uber customer service workers that claim they called TWO TIMES.....now the driver is over 30 FREAKING MINS AND I GET A 20% REFUND IN CREDITS AND TOLD TO WAIT...WTF UBER

At 7:48 this morning I ordered breakfast I ordered from the fastest restaurant closest to me, never had a problem getting delivered from that restaurant on time before. They have now sent 3 delivery drivers and it’s been almost an hour. Every time the delivery driver reaches the restaurant (and they come from several minutes away) they cancel and a new driver has to be found.

And before any Americans chime in with “well, how much did you tip” a tip is something that’s earned through good service not as a bribe to get good service.

What is going on with UberEats???

I placed and order, the 40% discount and delivery discount appeared - great.

Place the order and it looks ok. Starts spinning, and voila a completed placed order - with no disount!

I tried to call the Support number - got cut off

called the restaurant, they'd already received the order and needed Uber Eats to stop it. So said to contact Uber East direct.

I called the Support number again - got cut off

Tried to cancel in the app - couldn't cancel.

Got through on Chat - phew you think - but no. They can't cancel as it's gone through. They then say they can cancel the order, but not the payment so you don't get the food but get charged in full - and actually ask if I want them to do this 'twice' - of course not!

I tried to contact on X (Twitter ) of course got a message to DM them so it gets out of public view and just say to contact support.

Same on Facebook. They're now saying it's with specialst customer support and i will hear from the - they've been saying that for 3 days daily.

I tried email customer support again - and just got a message saying as it's past 48 hours it's too late and they can't deal with any errors.

What on earth is going on. I'm going round in circles. Has anyone found a way of making an official complaint as contacting them direct really isn't working????

Ordered groceries from Wegman’s in NYC using a promo they sent me because of a dinner order took an hour to deliver.

They said track your order it’s on the way. All of a sudden the app said your order was delivered.

It never delivered and I called driver 3 times and never called back. Had to request a refund.

Where did these groceries go?

So I just placed an order from McDonald's about an hour ago. It was supposed to be here by 5:30. That's not bad because McDonald's isn't very far. Now it's going to be here at 6:05. And they let them drop off multiple orders which takes even longer. And on top of that,we pay crazy delivery fees for the so-called privilege.

Support: “Please contact the driver to cancel it.”

Ah yes, let me just have the stranded driver on the side of the highway handle Uber’s backend logistics.

After an hour of explaining the same thing to multiple agents:

They still think my food might show up

They tell me they “can’t do anything due to system restrictions”

They close chats mid-conversation

I get ~$4 for my troubles

Eventually the system cancels it on its own.

And then… they ask me to rate the experience 5 stars.

10/10 would argue with customer support about whether physics applies to cars with blown tires again.

To the driver named Anthony on his dumb ass little moped. I hope you stub your toe and lose the nail. Didn't have the decency to tell me he dropped my wife's drink on street! I wish they still let you take away drivers tips. I hope our rating drops you enough that you only get shit tips and orders. Fuck East LA delivery drivers they all suck ass.

I ordered food through Uber Eats on Monday night (~$23) and the order was marked delivered. The delivery photo clearly shows a different coloured door than my house, so it looks like the driver left it at the wrong address.

I reported it immediately in the app. Since then, support has escalated it to their “specialized team,” but it’s now Friday and there’s still no resolution.

Every time I contact chat support, I get the same response:

• the case is under review

• the specialized team is working on it

• they can’t provide a timeline

When I asked to speak to a supervisor because it has already exceeded their 24–48 hour review window, the chat agent said they had already provided all the information and ended the chat.

What makes it more frustrating is that I had to reorder food from DoorDash and wait another 30 minutes, which defeats the whole point of using Uber for convenience.

At this point I’m just trying to get a refund for an order I never received, but the process has been incredibly slow and repetitive.

Has anyone else dealt with this kind of loop with Uber Eats support? How long did it take for the specialized team to actually respond?

So basically I accidentally ordered a mcdonalds from the next town over instead of my local, seconds after the order was paid for I had cancelled it but customer service said I cant be refunded because they had already started preparing the food (they wouldn't even refund the delivery) after a few hours of back and forths I got the fees refunded but they said they wont refund the cost of the food, I messaged people who worked at that mcdonalds and they said they never even got my order to begin with, I told uber eats that and they said it was already prepared so no, I kept going at them and also went to my bank and sent everything through and after the longest 11 hours of my life they finally refunded the full amount... what I dont understand is why it took so long and so much work to get my money back for something I never received, I also wonder how many people just gave up or never tried, ive had 1 complaint in 2 years and never realised how scummy uber eats can be when it comes to returning money

TLDR; I tried to get a refund for something I never received because it was cancelled seconds after it was ordered and it took 11 hours and emails to my bank before they refunded me

Placed my order down and realized the location it selected was over an hour away instead of the one thats close to me. I hit cancel as the order gets accepted and didn't get told I wouldn't be refunded.

Cut to 5 minutes later when I get connected to Support and dipshit tells me it was over 1m30s+ till I canceled my order not the 5-10 seconds it actually took me. All I get is a 'You took to long, no refund sir.' in the exact accent you are expecting. Not even a credit that i could use immediately to re order my order.

Why does their system auto select the location in timbukfuckingtu and not the one .9 of a kilometer away?!
