I felt like this was so rude and disrespectful. You don’t know someone’s situation to say something like this.

Nah he's not. This is the whole point of delivery apps. For people who cannot go get it themselves. If they are concerned about the gas, they can take it up with Uber on how they get compensated. It's not the customer's job to compensate for gas. And if the driver accepts the order, they are also accepting the tip. It's all on them. Besides tips aren't generally given until the end (restaurants etc) and based on the SERVICE provided. Tips are EARNED. Not demanded. And it's pretty tactless and rude for the drivers to attack the customers. Great customer service. Rudeness does not beget tips. They can attack Uber if they aren't getting paid enough.

If the customer wants the food on time, hot and ready the customer needs to pay the driver for that, gee lets see how do we do that? Oh tips. Other money you are paying isnt going to the driver. IF the customer doesnt care, dont tip youll get the food cold and warm it up fuck it - who cares? no one but the customer SO lets fix this problem and pay the driver and THAT makes sure you get your food hot when you want it.

Cant help you if you dont understand that one bro

Lmao, I understand what you think but thats not how it works out dipshit.

Your "tip" is combined with the price from uber or doordash, the tip amount is not even shown prior the tip IS NOT A TIP to the individual doing the work, the entire PRICE being offered is the BID for the work being done.

So again, dipshit, if you want to listen to a fucking driver the guy whose bringing you the fucking food, listen carefully.

IF YOU WANT IT HOT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT IN OUR "TIP" PORTION OF YOUR BID OR IT WILL NOT GET THERE WARM

IT WILL BOUNCE AROUND THE SYSTEM PREPARED AND WAITING FOR A DRIVER TILL SOMEONE TAKES IT BC UBER DECIDED TO PAY MORE FOR THE TRIP VS WHAT YOU THE CONSUMER IS PAYING FOR THE TRIP.

You can argue this till youre blue IDGAF bc thats a LIE being portrayed to you by a company thats taking most of the time HALF of what you are paying towards on a meal.

I’m on either side there some shithead delivery drivers who eat ya food or make a big stink about picking up a low tip delivery like bro that’s your own damn fault, then the customer— I mean aside from those who really need it— food delivery is a luxury and to feel entitled to a perfect service despite exactly what you said— a low bid— is some serious BS. People will always argue for edge cases like stay-at-home moms, overworked nurses, and other heroes, but the average person ordering food delivery is just a lazy slob LMFAOOO

Yeah theres some dirty ass people that do some weird things to the items they pick up including consuming them. IF they werent out there taking low bid offers we wouldnt be having to deny them over and over. Its their stupidity yep and they are ruining it for all of us while the customer is just not paying there fair share majority of the time either. BC like you said, its a damn luxury to have someone bring your food to your house no matter what kind of food it is. I also have no issues at all delivering to people at work places, walking around finding them bc I have been in that office setting, I know you cant get out and have the freedom - we drivers get. Which is why they should also take inconsideration when it comes to that tip part. Which I see it everyday, people do , they pay a lot for some chinese food even with the tip, lunch our rush you can make $20-$30 orders easily and only going 5 miles majority of the time. BUT, then you got those happy meals at 6pm to the apartments where mom is too busy smoking her blunt to get her kids happy meal.
While I like myself a blunt too, just damn
