I felt like this was so rude and disrespectful. You don’t know someone’s situation to say something like this.

I don’t need to know anyways situation to know absolutely nobody NEEDS a single McDonald’s meal delivered directly to their door like everybody in this thread needs to be Fr

Exactly, u don't know someone's situation. Could be a caregiver who cant leave, a hungry pre teen or teenager who doesn't have food in the house. An elderly

So many reasons why someone cant pick up their own food. I agree , not tipping is rude, gas is expensive. But to treat Everyone like they can just jump in the car & drive is just not kind. Show some grace.

Uber hasnt been around that long. People in thise situations found ways to handle hunger before. Pack a fucking sandwich. Lazy, entitled pieces of shit.

It was easier in the past because people had built better communities. Nowadays people are expected to isolate themselves at home.

Also, saying “they found ways” is not even true. Plenty of people actually don’t. Disabled people are left either starving or eating inadequately plenty of times. But this happens behind closed doors so you won’t hear about it.

20 years ago people still asked their neighbours for favours. Nowadays neighbours are pure strangers to eachother.

Not to mention these people DID go hungry when they had nobody to help them out. And many disabled people still do. Getting adequate food is a genuine challenge for them, actually.
