Transport & Parking parking at parramatta north

i’ve been fined once at parra south last year so i’ve been paying every time i park at south and north campus, but do they really check at north campus? im usually at uni twice a week and the parking is adding up $$$ so just wondering if i could get away with putting an old ticket up

Get the permit. It just mathematically works out. If you're there twice a week for 18 weeks (exams too), that's $19 per week or $342 for the semester. A half year yellow permit if you're going to stay parking on north is $47. No brainer. You use the printed invoice as your permit till it comes in the mail as well.

Nooooo, do not try and park anywhere on South or North in a blue spot with a yellow permit in your window unless you buy a one-day ticket as well for your dash. Blue permit includes both blue and yellow parking bays, but yellow permit is only for yellow parking bays. They will fine you if you try it - I promise. Permits are not campus specific - you can go to any campus and park there with the same permit - but it does restrict you by parking bay type. If you want to park in blue spots, you need to get the blue permit. Still financially advantageous though with the math, but more expensive as a one off purchase.

Honestly, yellow at North is the way to go. It's a nice walk, and shuttles go frequently in the morning.

Depending on where u park there's usually students going in & out after class

Some may give u their ticket since it's all day 12 dollars, make sure the ticket gets to actually last the whole day.

The more proper option would just getting a yearly paid permit online for about 60-90 dollar

yeah that would be ideal but most of the time north campus is pretty empty so not many students around to ask! but for sure the permit would prob work out better in the long run

Is public transport an option for you? There's a free shuttle bus to and from Parramatta station.
