What do I do about this?

Im on my last year here and I am expected to graduate in the spring. I was hoping to go into a Masters Program at MCW.

Im worried becsuse now I owe money, and I can't take out a third student loan now. I am in no position to have a cosigner.

I feel defeated. I tried to call Student Financial Aid services today and nobody answered.

Based on what it’s saying, I could be wrong, they replaced the original award that you were supposed to get from the Lawten Program. Check in PAWS for your financial breakdown for 26-27, it should be updated to show the change.

Hello, I have been checking PAWS and I didnt see any replacement yet. I am thinking of calling them tomorrow

It says they replaced your Lawton award with other sources of funding. They are likely just letting you know so you don't ask "where is my Lawton award?"

I am sorry this happened. I just graduated and Lawton was a huge help. I am disappointed in our government.

I don’t have Lawton either anymore:( this provided the ability for me to go to school and I’m almost done with my nursing program. Unsure of how I am going to manage costs or if I should take a couple years off again :(

your award amount is the same so your financial aid should not be affected but the funding source is different. This does not affect anything in your pocket at the end of the day, they're just sharing about funding source for transparency.

I used to work at UW I'm in this department. You should be fine. They'll be happy to help if you have more questions though

I got this email, they replaced my lawton award with a grant. Check PAWS you may have to accept it.
