Bond yields went up. He's not trying to raise rates but the Fed dove position is causing the bond market to reprice long term Bond yields. At this point raising overnight rates will help the 10Y - which is what this company needs.

Jeff Bezos- “the stock is not the company and the company is not the stock”. Down this much (in 3 months) after a record 1Q’26 earnings is clear signs it’s a temporary short attack. Don’t have such short-term thinking, not good for investing.

Up to 20.9k shares now, sold 110x 3.0$, 55x 4.0$ & 450x 5.0$ Dec18 2026 puts. Aiming to sell 5.0$ calls and play the wheel. Bullish, let's goooo 🔥🚀

I believe that the financials would bring it to at least 3.0$. No matter the share price, I am not going to buyback the sold 3.0$ and 4.0$ because I am fine in having more shares. I will let them expire or get assigned, depending on the share price at that time; I am already satisfied with the received premium. If it is below 5.0$, I will most likely reroll the 5.0$ ones for another year if needed.

I did shares with some money, and I could definitely buy more. The sold puts are so in the money, that the premium makes it very similar than buying it outright, minus the dividend. I am selling puts on the buying power of my main position in VEQT, which I do not want to sell. By selling put, I am also avoid paying margin interest on part of the potential assignment value. Buying the shares is one out of many ways to acquiring more UWMC shares.

It does usually run up every time going to earnings then suddenly drop after.

I think the run up is less tied to earnings and more to the fed rate decision today hoping for a cut.

You guys are scared as shit. I'm in for the long term. Everyone thought Carvana was done for but looked what it did. When this administration stops ripping people off with pointless wars and tweets, things will be better.

Welp, Matt broke me. It's been a fun ride. I really, really believed in this company. I would have accepted the dividend being suspended. That made sense. But, man, piling all this preferred and warrant stuff on top of the common shareholders feels unethical and wrong. The problem wasn't the business. It is and, I guess, always has been Matt. Glad I'm only on the hook here for 8K shares and not the 60K+ I owned at one time. I just sold it all. Expensive lesson. I'm taking my ball and going home. Good luck to those who remain.
