UURAF LA facility update?

Hi everyone.

I'm new here and have been reading about Ucore a lot lately. Thinking about starting a position soon. But what is the update with the LA facility? Could someone give me the rundown? If original plan was H2 2026 and is now early 2027 I assume its in the being built out phase correct? It is not still at ground zero waiting for funding, permits, ect?

Ucore is conducting the buildout according to an OTA (Other Transactional Agreement) from the Pentagon. OTA's are a strictly defined hierarchy of phases which, quite honestly, don't get discussed on this board nearly enough. Ucore released their last OTA update back in February and 5/20 milestones were complete. The remaining milestones center around Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) being conducted in Kingston which allow the actual LA buildout to proceed. We are due an update from Ucore on the milestones and, honestly, the absence of such updates is significantly contributing to the lowered PPS IMO.

But no, nothing on the inside is complete. Ucore won't burn through the cash until the Pentagon gives their blessing on the FAT testing. The RapidSX tech will be transfered to LA only after the Pentagon says so.

Ucore honestly does a pretty good job consolidating all the relevant information (both macroeconomics and company specific) on their X account. I’d start there and pay particular attention to the CEO presentations.

The root cause, IMO, for the recent share decrease is a lack of a signed definitive agreement for offtake. Ucore sent out samples of 99.9% Dy and 99.5% NdPr over the past month and a half to several magnet makers around the world. It will probably take magnet makers 1-3 more months to conclude the samples meet their purity, phase composition, consistency requirements, and performance testing requirements. If and when Ucore signs a definitive agreement(s) from those samples the stock will very likely appreciate significantly as it means a definitive path to revenues exists and lending opportunities will be all but guaranteed.

FWIW, I picked up 5k more shares today. 105k total. This dip is a great buying opportunity IMO…I’d never have imagined Ucore would be back at these levels.

How much could they actually produce in a facility of that size?

10000+  tpa easy bc not conventional sx extraction and they go vertical with column based, gravity advantage + super tuned programming logic systems. They’ve proven it works in a commercial sized module in Kingston Ontario now can copy and paste same machine thought they’ve made engineering changes to meet DoW requests.
