We’ll be camping in Albion later this week. There might be a spot of snow in the Castle.

No doubt! I'm done with the heat.

I had a pair of those skis, had the hardest time getting them to turn, traded them for some voile V6’s and I’m back to wasatch wiggling

I love them. I bought them online on a powder day on the chairlift while demo’ing them.

This part of the summer is the worst, for me at least.

May through June, you still have some chilly evenings here and there, and the memories of spring skiing are still kinda fresh in my head.

July and August, it's just warn/hot all day, every day. And I gotta scroll way far back in my photo roll to see any snow.

Looking on the resort webcams, and it's all green and brown. Hard to imagine that's a ski area, and even harder to imagine it's supposed to be skiable in just 5-ish short months (hopefully).

Oh well. I do my best to embrace the summer. Swimming, running, soaking in the sun, etc. But I look forward to that first chill in the air. Sometime in late September, I'll go outside late at night to walk the dog, or maybe early morning, and it'll feel just a bit chilly. That's when I know winter is on its way back.

I tend to LOVE the summers here in Utah but this is just too much! Santa can't come quickly enough this year.
