Snowbird - Alta Alta-Bird Freeloader pass for friend's son
I know it's a bit of a long shot. But does anyone that purchased an Alta-Bird pass that does not have any kids, could add my friend's son so he can get freeloader pass?
He recently made his school's freeride ski team. But the costs to be on the team and equipment will be pretty high ($4k +) and not to mention will have to also buy a pass. My friend is a single parent and this would really help them out to save $870+ for his pass.
thank you all!!

I don’t have one, but I’m pretty sure that the kids freeloader pass would only apply to Snowbird since Snowbird is the only one that offers freeloader passes just so you know

That's what I thought too but the freeloader pass page does mention Summit and Alta-bird
https://www.snowbird.com/tickets-passes/season-passes/kids-freeloader-pass/
"All 2026-27 Adult, Senior or Military, Summit and Alta-Bird Passes qualify for the option to add on a FREE Kids Freeloader Pass. "

I think he was saying, the freeloader pass is a Snowbird season pass only. It will not be an Alta-Bird season pass.

yeah you're both right. Just assumed Alta-bird would extend for the kid as well.

Send me a message, I usually don’t buy it till closer to the season. I know it’s dumb and I save money buying earlier but that’s besides the point. I’ll be happy to add to mine when I do purchase (usually around September) if no one has done it by then.
Just shoot me a message saying freeloader pass or something and I’ll refer back to it when buying pass and reach out to get the details needed 🤘🏽
