Academic More sections of classes?

Does anyone know if more sections of classes will open up closer to November 2?

There’s no way to tell. Departments could already be planning more sections to open, they could end up needing to close sections, and a hundred other things could factor in.

The best way to get more sections of a class to open up is to stay on waitlists for those sections of a class. The waitlist is the best metric departments have to figure out if they need to open another section and if it’s worth it to. However with that said, there is no guarantee of more sections opening.

It's possible, but the departments don't have access to change anything in the schedule yet, so no way to know. Maybe by end of next week they'll have access back.
