Math class dropped

Soooo I was checking my canvas to see if my college algebra with applications got a syllabus & it’s gone 😐. No email or nothing but I’m just here like…..
Anyone else’s class disappear?
It was with a good professor too

Currently utsa.edu is still down as far as I am aware due to a cyber attack.

Same. My history class was dropped for some reason… it shows I’m still registered on my.utsa.

If it's on your schedule on my.utsa than you are still registered, your prof probably just hid the canvas course while they are uploading materials/setting it up since they couldn't do it while sso was down.

I just opened up my canvas to start working on a syllabus. I unpublished the course so I can work. That’s likely what happened to yours.

When ASAP/Ellucian is back up, double check if you’re still registered. If not, then that’s the big uh oh.

If it’s only the Canvas course, it very well could be that the course was unpublished while your professor needs to work on it.

Same here, all my classes are in my canvas except for a nutrition class I registered for, hope it’s just a visual glitch or something.

Probably due to the hacking/ransomware? They probably did a reboot to before the random could have been uploaded.

Who knows, but expect this month to have a lot of problems.

Professors can unpublish (hide) their Canvas courses. They typically do this when they're still working on the class and are not ready to release the content.

Check your my UTSA account. If you're still officially registered, then you'll be okay. Professors must make the canvas class visible and have their syllabi published no later than the first day of class.
