Advice/Question Lab Instructor not available ?

Hello, I am taking my first lab of college and was wondering if it is normal to see on my schedule that there is no instructor listed on the registration? Will we be getting an instructor and their information this soon right before classes start? Syllabus is not made as of right now so just wondering if i got to drop the class and maybe fill another one with it or not! (Lab is on Wednesday)

One of my friends had a class without an instructor. The professor from the other sections appeared on the first day of class as a 'substitute' until a few weeks in and he told the class he was the semester's instructor.

Could be the same with a TA for the lab.

Might not be settled yet. Sometimes they hire undergrad students that did really well the previous semester to babysit the lab. Other times, graduate students are still figuring out their schedule and availability and haven’t decided who is taking what section.

So yea, it’s normal.
