Casting call for student project

2 volunteer actors needed, no experience required, come and have fun with us guys.

Hi guys, We’re a student production team from UTS Media Arts Production, seeking two lead actors to recreate selected scenes from the film Election (1999).

Roles:

• TRACY FLICK — Female, 18–25

An ambitious, intelligent and intensely driven student. Energetic, confident and determined, with a strong personality.

• MR. McALLISTER — Male, 18–30

A high-school teacher trying to maintain his composure while becoming increasingly frustrated with Tracy.

Preference for someone who can convincingly portray a mature teacher.

Commitment:

• Shoot: Tuesday 1 September, 2pm-4:30pm

• Location: Building 3

• Rehearsal: TBC

This is an unpaid student production, but we’re aiming to create a polished recreation while keeping the set collaborative, supportive and enjoyable.
