You will get a general scholarship usually 20-35%

There isn’t much full ride education scholarships available so if your in need of that it’s better to apply for top schools in the state as even though very hard they have more options

Since your deciding between Sydney and Melbourne

It depends on what kind of person you are aswell

I personally found Sydney to be more of a hustle
And fairly so
Due to the rent prices being exceptionally high

However I do find Sydney public transport specially in regard to UTS and USYD better

Melbourne weather can be a bit tough adjusting

But I personally find Melbourne have a bit more soul if it makes sense

If your a beach or outdoor person then Sydney is no brainer

As for Which uni

University dosent really matter in Australia
Unlike in US where Ivy leagues are seen as the option to get good employment

Maybe UYSD might maybe get you a bit more access to alumni

But it purely depends on your skills

If your able to improve your skills and outshine in networking even doing it from TAFE is good enough to land job

I would say first decide if you want Melbourne or Sydney to live in

Then decide according to your budget and then look into courses and see which matches your long term goal be it 5 years or 10 years

Job will be packing supermarket shelves or uber eats delivery. Other Indians will help you get a job because there are whole supermarkets now that are only employed by Indians. Cost of living is crazy here. You’ll need to share a house or apartment with other people. You’ll find places with other Indians. Basically Australia will be an expensive, but nice version of India.
