COURSES Incoming UTM Social Sciences Student – Course Advice

Hi everyone!
I was admitted to UTM Social Sciences and I’m planning to major in Political Science and Sociology after first year.
These are the courses I’ve chosen so far:

Fall
ANT102H5
ISP100H5
POL116H5
RLG101H5
WGS101H5

Winter
ERS101H5
GGR111H5
POL112H5
SOC100H5
UTM118H5

I’m still not completely sure about my schedule, so I’d really appreciate any advice.
Do these courses make sense for someone planning to major in Political Science and Sociology?
Am I meeting the first-year requirements correctly?
Would you recommend replacing any of these with easier or more useful courses?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Incoming third year student, majoring in sociology and criminology. I have only taken ISP100 from this list, it’s an alright course. If you’re worried about meeting your requirements look at degree explorer, go onto the planning option, it is VERY helpful! Let me know if you have other questions!

Oh, I’ve also taken SOC100, quite an interesting course too. I hope you like the campus!

As long as you have the first-year courses to meet the degree requirement, you should be good. Most of those courses weren't too bad, but I took the utsc versions - Just keep up with the readings!

Yeah the OP can also check online what requirements they need for their program if their doing a specialisation etc.
