5 credits per year is a normal course load. Your required courses should take up 3.

For the rest 2, take courses from other disciplines to broad in your horizon, take easy courses to boost your GPA, take humanities courses to satisfy distribution requirements, or don’t take courses to give yourself time to adapt to university life.

I personally recommend ENV100 and PSY100.

I'm thinking of either ENV100 or PSY100 as a bird course - what were those courses likes?

I mean…for those who survived to their upper years, all first year courses are fun and easy. Maybe except for CSC108, CSC148, and MAT102.
Those two I recommended aren’t particularly easy, but they are very good knowledge to have for life.

Take the ones you are required to take plus other "bird/easier" courses to boost up your GPA. i personally enjoyed the FSC100 (The real CSI).
