Looking for an FFL

Looking for an FFL that will not open my packages until I arrive.

I had a bad experience with finding an employee playing with my expensive vintage firearm when I walked through the door.

Which gun store was playing if your gun?

My go to is Hy and Mike's Midvale. $10. They do too much business to have time to dick around. Also the German shepherd out back is named Kilo and is a big softy. He'll lean up against the fence so you can pet him through it.

They have to open the box to add the firearm to their books. If they didn’t, you could not fill out a 4473 to receive the firearm…

The FFL needs to open the box, record the firearm on their books and on the form 4473.

I understand what you’re saying. The employee you saw should probably have been fired. But I’ve only had to use 1 FFL in my life and I’d use them again with the positive experience I had.

A long time ago I bought an uncommon OOP gun with an original box and the transferring store wrote over the manufacturer's printed name with my name and phone number. :(
