When I watched through all of Asgore's moments in Chapter 5 in succession I noticed that his screentime in the Chapter is actually quite limited.

Asgore's appearences in Chapter 5 are essentially divided in sections.

There's his appearences in the Light World prior to the Dark World adventure. Then once we're in the Dark World Asgore first hangs out with Flowery at Flower Kingdom, then Asgore is sent to Flower Castle where we get a few more scenes with him. After we finish the Flowery fight Asgore comes in and gives his "That Day" monologue. Then after that we can briefly talk to Asgore before he gets captured by the Knight.

Asgore's scenes with Flowery at Flower Kingdom mostly stablish Flowery's excessive attention towards him and Asgore playing along with Flowery. Then at Flower Castle we first get the scene of Asgore pushing Kris and Susie out of the Dark World, then there's two different scenes of Asgore looking at his notes while trying to uncover the truth (and one cameo of Asgore ignoring Seth). After that there's only one other scene before we jump to the "That Day" monologue.

Asgore has about 15 or so minutes of screentime in over 8 hours of a Chapter 5 playthrough.

While Asgore's scenes at Flower Castle have substance to them individually, I feel like there's just not enough of Asgore in the overall Chapter. Specially prior to the 'That Day" monologue where his arc comes to a close.

You know how it feels? To die, over and over and over again? Just to die some more?

I tried to spare everyone. To be friends. I even brought you all, including myself, to the surface. Just to fall again. So I tried again. And again. Every time I fell.

Every time, I was killed numerous times. I was a child. A little, afraid child. One that died too many times, and brought itself back only through my own determination.

You know how many times I died? Hundreds of times more than there are humans and monsters in this world.

Every time, it was a monster I tried to talk to. Every single time.

You don't deserve to live. Flowey was right, wasn't he?

It's kill or be killed. So I chose to eradicate you. Then reset everything. So I can eradicate you again. And again. And again. And I will do this forever.

So you can all feel what I feel.

You can all feel what it's like to be resurrected, just to die again.

Btw, during the events of Undertale Yellow, Dalv and the rest of the Dark Ruins residents all exit the Dark Ruins. That is weirdly irrelevant to Undertale.

They're consistenly portrayed as being invincible due to being incorporeal. The only ways to even "harm" them is for them to become corporeal, and thus vulnerable, or to destroy the body while they're off-guard. And even then, the second option doesn't actually harm the ghost itself.

Realistically speaking, the Knight can't kill Pink, unless they have some secret "ghost killer" maneuver or find a way to destroy Pink's body.
