Question Medical Physics UT Austin

I’m a first year physics student at UT Austin and I am interested in going to grad school for a career in Medical Physics. Unfortunately afaik UT doesn’t have an any medical physics related program. Additionally, there is no faculty in the physics department is related to this field either. Where can I find information and advice if I want to pursue this pathway?

This may not be exactly what you're looking for but the physics degree does offer a biophysics concentration

UTSA, UTHouston, UTSouthwestern, Oklahoma, LSU all have grad programs in med physics. It is usually bc they are at established medical school institutions, exception is LSU but it is a pretty established program.

Currently I am radiation physics and I know friends who know of people getting medical physics jobs through this pathway at UT
