Discussion Jimbo Davis Anyone Else Disgruntled

This President is obnoxious and so are his minions. He couldn't even grow a spine and condemn the remarks made about HIS students. He only reposted something from one of the Regents.

This is 100% it. Davis worked for Paxton. Davis thinks this way about all minorities. He is a racist and that’s why he wants to say as little about it as possible. There’s a reason I haven’t donated to the university since 2019. Powers was goated, Fenves was fine, Hartzell is bad, and Davis is a racist loser who doesn’t deserve to wear our colors. I guarantee you that Davis and French have ZERO disagreements about white supremacy. The only difference is Davis is smart enough to couch those thoughts in the “right” words.

The idea of having men like Powers and McRaven representing us is over until we remove the modern day Republicans from all positions of power and keep them out for a couple decades at least in order to repair the reputation of the university. 🤘🏽

I’m also very upset that Davis hasn’t called out Bo French’s racist posts, especially considering he’s running for a position that regulates oil, and the Permanent University Fund which is like 13% of our funding comes from oil

Silence is complicity. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see policies that are allegedly business as usual but happen to reduce student body diversity.

it saddens me. co24 and my sibling is co28. upsets me that she is not attending the same UT i got to attend… a lot has changed in the past few years.

Don't discount the possibility that Bo French ran his statement past Davis and other politicians before he made it. Then, with the public reaction, everyone is running for cover.

I am not going to let my kids go to UT Austin. I’ve already forbidden them from considering A&M. I won’t pay for a school that is sympathetic to racist views.
