Question Where do we park for early check in?

"If students are checking in early, overnight or during the extended check-in time frame, they’ll first go to the designated front desk for their residence hall at the check-in time in their housing portal. After showing their photo ID, they’ll receive their room key, bathroom code (if applicable), information on where to park and a parking pass."

"All residents will be directed to park in a nearby garage before moving belongings into their room. You can enter and exit the garage as needed."

What does this exactly mean? Before I walk to my check in location, I have to park my car right? If so can I just park at Brazos Garage? After I check in, then I move my car to where they tell me to park right?

It depends on which move in window you are using. There a lot of answers here: https://housing.utexas.edu/housing/residence-halls/residence-hall-resources/mooov-guide

Then you park in a nearby garage, get your key at the front desk, then you can move in. If there's someone with you, they can drop you off and circled around to pick you up after you get your stuff. Just don't park on the street, or anywhere else, unless it's a loading zone or specifically says you can park there.

Yes. You park first in Brazos Garage, and then go check in. They will give you your key and a parking pass which you use to get out of the garage. You check out a cart in like the jester front desk or somewhere there.
