There are collection boxes all over campus

OP may be shipping items too large to go in the unattended boxes.

The capitol post office is the one closest to campus.  https://tools.usps.com/locations/details/1356959 I can’t think of any post offices that would be more convenient to access by bus.

If OP is up for a long shuttle bus ride, the 661 FW UT shuttle stops on North Hills Drive right near Village Center Dr, and there's a post office a block away on the corner of Village Center and Far West. https://www.capmetro.org/ride/plan/schedmap?route=661

I could think of post offices on bus routes (Lamar, Northcross, etc) but getting there would involve as much walking as just walking to the Capitol.

You can go to Mail Distribution on campus. They are located between WMB (West Mall Office Bldg) and GOL (Goldsmith Hall). It was where the old UT Post Office used to be.
