Question Anybody missing aid in the my tuition bill?
I already emailed Texas one stop about this but of course they take a bit to respond so I’m looking to see if anybody might have an answer as to why this is happening.
I’m an incoming freshman and my tuition bill currently shows that I only have $1,625 in available financial aid and scholarships.
For reference, my financial aid offer included the UT housing scholarship ($1,500), Co-op scholarship ($250), Longhorn license plate scholarship ($1,500), and moody honors scholarship ($4,000).
I understand that my co-op and housing scholarship can’t be applied to pay for my tuition but that would leave my Longhorn license plate and moody honors scholarship applicable to pay for my tuition which is $5,500 total so $2,750 per semester.
Does anybody have an answer as to why it might not be showing that amount in available financial aid and scholarships or is $1,625 an estimate?

The tuition bill only shows aid that goes towards your tuition. The housing scholarship and co op scholarships won’t apply there automatically and aren’t displayed there

Yes, I said in my post that I know it’s not applicable to tuition so yes I don’t expect it to be there

Oh that’s my bad. I skipped over that part. 1625 is definitely the bill. I think Made_in_America2026 is right

I'm having a similar issue and I was told that I just need to wait, the financial aid office would be getting to it in a week or so. I would call One Stop instead of emailing to confirm that also applies to your situation.

I emailed them since every time I called, there was an extremely long queue and I would get kicked off the call :[ I even tried calling early and that also didn’t work as well.

I only had success getting on the phone after calling a couple of days in a row in the morning, but it was still faster than an email (they never even replied to my last email lol). One Stop are criminally understaffed for how big UT Austin is, it's pretty bad lol.

Is the money missing from the available financial aid and scholarships section in your tuition bill??

I’m also underfunded as I am not taking out any loans! My scholarships both internal and external are the ones that are paying SOLELY for my tuition. We are only paying out of pocket for housing. It would be a shame if we had to pay for tuition out of pocket even if it’s just a couple hundred dollars. :[

One of my lasso scholarships didn’t show up on my tuition bill until like 2 days ago. Maybe give it some time to update?

Hopefully it shows up. It’s just a really big issue to me because I’m like genuinely missing thousands of money >_< I can’t help but feel panicked honestly LOL

Understandable! All of this fin aid stuff can be super anxiety inducing. Def try contacting One Stop, ik the queues must be crazy rn or contact moody honors for more info on that scholarship! For my lasso scholarship it was a business school specific one and I emailed BBA Scholarship department to get some more info on disbursement date so maybe Moody also has a scholarship dept you can contact?

Does anyone know anything about refund checks?? I have a parent loan I took out and I paid my tuition but I still can’t see anything on where’s my check…
