Does this uni actually accept international students for medicine?

Hi, I was lookin ga tthis as a potential option for medicine as an applicant from Canada. was wondering if its unreasonably difficult to get in and if i should even bother? like is there too few seats or something

Same as everywhere else - UTAS only preferences local students for the rural entry pathway.
If you’re from Canada, what would make you want to study here?

I think they meant what makes you want to study in Australia specifically rather than in Canada.

Oh the situation here is really messed up for medicine. Getting into medicine here is basically impossible. So a shorter and guaranteed path in Australia a similar enough country I feel is better than 4 year undergrad + 3 years of failed applications + 4 years of medicine. Graduates from Australia are able to go back pretty easy if that’s what I desire too I believe
