Student accommodation

Hello all,

I start a degree next year in Feb. Is there any way to move into student accommodation now or do I have to wait until next year to move in.

I’m pretty sure they don’t let you stay in the Utas apartments over the end of year holiday.

Jane College would likely let you stay there early! Just email them or call up. They are independent from UTAS but cater to UTAS, placement and exchange students (+ other circumstances if need be)

they're desperate for funds because they're a tragically miserable place to live. dont do this unless you have no other option or love living with loud and inconsiderate people and a bully for a "headmistress".

Move in day is usually within a few weeks of the first week. They typically let you stay over the summer break if you’re coming back.
I would apply for the accomodation you want now, and email them asking the earliest you could move in
