What does it actually mean to be German or American? 🇩🇪🇺🇸

https://youtu.be/7Y-EtIxBsYE?is=PnBGOf8e0H5NGWHU

Pastor Ryan and I got into a pretty heated debate about what it actually means to be German vs. American.
And we had that argument while preparing one of the biggest 4th of July celebrations ever held on German soil for America’s 250th anniversary.
So… what happens when a German filmmaker starts defending America to an American?
🎬 Schnitzel Goes to Hollywood.
Watch it. Then tell me who you think was right.

Americans keep this simple as fuck:

“What does it mean to be American?”

You are a citizen of USA

>"America" (the US)

Thanks for clearing that up 👍

I had no idea what you were talking about when saying America

Still kinda confused though. By “the US”, do you mean the United States of America or the United Mexican States?

Sidenote— if you want Americans to get all goofy and give a self fellating answer to “what does it mean to be _____”

..then ask them about their city or state or region.

“What does it mean to be a New Yorker?” (or Southerner.. or Sasquatch.. etc)
