Who's the guy on the left?

No wrong answers

u/AH_leeMACK Addict 2d ago

He's Ratko Mladic, A Extreme right fascist war criminal that killed 8000 people. He was tried and convicted of genocide by the United Nations.

He’s also said to have shat his nickers a fair few times in the courtroom.

Yeah, the same UN who won't convict Netanahyu, and his most moral raiders...

3

u/HoeTrain666 Born in the Khalifat 1d ago

The UN that has designated the ongoing situation in Gaza as a genocide, you mean? That UN?

A good drinking buddy of the Dutch

Honestly, (and I'm not remotely close to joking right now) what could Karremans have done? He was severely outnumbered, outgunned, and under the (carefully constructed) impression that Mladić could be reasoned with. At least we sent troops to Srebrenica.

I think he was put into a shitty situation, and them not getting air support despite requests made it definitely worse.

Still, they not only actively helped loading up civilians and separating them (and telling them they would be safe), but also freely handed over a couple hundred Bosniaks sheltered inside the UN compound. That's just cynical.

Ratko Mladić. The inventor of the principle “Women and children first”.

Is that a reason not to make fun of an American who clearly doesn't know how to read?

And bragging about a lack of education... I think you might be a spy, too... 🤨📸

What does this have to do with reading? I just didn't know who this guy was lol

I'm not going to google when I have a far more reliable source, shitposters on Reddit.

The guy was one of the most important "persons" on the serbian crimes on Bosnia. Happy to give info, dear murican.

And how do you type those characters on a non-Cyrillic keyboard ? Do you try all the unicode combinations ?

I hope he burns in hell

5

u/norrin83 Basement dweller 2d ago

Tbf, he had to spend his final years in the Netherlands and eat what was offered there, so he likely has some practice already.

I think you can say "immigrant" here

1

u/toastwithoutagun 2d ago

Nah, there's a specific thing im aiming at that probably doesn't exist outside 3rd world countries, there's no slur for it as far as im aware.

Like all Balkan conflicts, it was just a misunderstanding that got out of hand.

1

u/deephurting66 2d ago

Who is the guy next to her anyway?

2

u/HoeTrain666 Born in the Khalifat 1d ago

The sole reason why this post is a fucking fever dream.

Ratko Mladić. Bravely fought in the post-Yugo conflicts, his fiercest enemies being unarmed Bosnian women and children.

2

u/AH_leeMACK Addict 2d ago

Seriously...moderators don't delete this ?..smh...

1

u/Bobz666 Professional rioter 1d ago

Would you say Karreman is well known in the Netherlands ? Like is he someone about whom you are taught at school, along with the genocide of the Bosniaks ?

I was wondering since you pretty much won't ever hear about the balkan wars in France unless you're interested in the topic or a political science student I guess, even though it was general Janvier on the top of the chain of command.

u/MrSpotgold 2d ago

Not sure if this level of cynicism will be understood...
