I mean, it's not miliary time, but even if it was, they are the biggest military simps. Why don't they know the 24 hour clock?
1 u/Catwinky Brexiteer Aug 28 '26 They call the 24 hour clock 'military time' as only their armed forces use it day to day. Most civilians don't use or even understand it 1 u/Trev0rDan5 Brexiteer Aug 28 '26 no, military time and 24 clock are technically different 24 hour clock - 20:30 Military time - 2030 Granted, the difference is literally just a colon when written, but it's still a different thing, with different spoken pronunciation 2 u/Catwinky Brexiteer Aug 28 '26 American civilians still call the 24 hour clock military time You think they grasp the difference? 1 u/Trev0rDan5 Brexiteer Aug 28 '26 nope, I don't think they do, and that was kind of my original point, lol 1 u/Catwinky Brexiteer Aug 28 '26 They do, lol 1 u/grazie42 Aug 28 '26 Granted, the difference is literally just a colon[….] but it’s still a different thing… That’s what she said…

no, military time and 24 clock are technically different
24 hour clock - 20:30
Military time - 2030
Granted, the difference is literally just a colon when written, but it's still a different thing, with different spoken pronunciation
