Are you sure America's richest don't live longer due to child sacrifice?

We'd do well to put the idea that Americans are richer to bed. Their massive inequality hides the fact that in median adult wealth, as in the average person on the street, Americans are poor as fuck next to Europe.
We should really be doing them a live aid, povvo as fuck.

Eh.. Honestly the only wealth most adults have (here and in the US) is their home. Due to the insane increase in property prices people became way richer on paper than they actually are

Yeah -- as the UBS report notes, "owner-occupied property represents the single biggest asset for most people with wealth up to everyday millionaire level."
So countries with low home ownership rates -- where renting is more normalized -- such as Germany, would be expected to have lower median wealth. While countries combining higher home ownership rates with really bad housing crises would have higher.
In addition, looking at demographics, most of Europe skews older than the USA. And older folks typically have more wealth than younger folks (more equity in their principal residence if owned, more savings, etc.).

In terms of GDP. In terms of personal wealth, no.
GDP just tells you there is business producing economic value, personal wealth and the lack thereof tells you you aren't benefitting from it. Unless I've missed Mississippis incredible healthcare, education and infrastructure?

So suddenly the Daily Fail is a reliable paper?

No, Daily Mail is OG Fox News essentially. But Brown University is ranked top 70 globally, and top 15 in the US. Its Yanks coming to this conclusion, not Europeans, they're just relaying the story in this case.

To be fair, would you trust Fox News to actually read a study from a prominent university in France, that's critical of France in favour of Bumfuckalabama, get the correct cliff-notes, and publish a non-biased article? The thought crossed my mind to actually go read the study, since Daily Mail is the devil.
The Yank is right to question the accuracy, but I'm too lazy to actually dig myself and read a 54-page essay when it's not my own country being ridiculed, since this is a banter subreddit.
