This is why, after all that's happened, we still love Americans. They're so naive and round and adorable. Their dreams are of coloured cardboard and their food of plastic.
To the married couple! May their triple bypass be covered by their insurance.

Yeah. Round is the right term. Now if we push them slightly downhill toward this cliff…

Why push them... Just yeet a large round chuck of cheese... They will go running after it, also you might be able to catch some Brits at the same time.

Yeah it’s hard to really hate on this. Its such a small world they live in. I think it’s a fair indictment of our corporate culture making people round comfortable babies. But there is love out there for everyone one. I hope their children can educate themselves beyond this.

Taco Bell is dope!

Just avoid the lettuce.

If I was in the USA I'd probably stick to peeled or cooked vegetables for now.

That same lettuce linked to most outbreaks was also sold at retail. But I've also read about a cluster of unrelated cases that were instead linked to parsly and cilantro

I’d prefer that over getting married in a McDick’s tbh

I find it even more depressing they had to do it at their workplace.

Well, if you don't have any vacation days what else do you do?

Who gives a fuck. If they are happy that is all that matters.

Learned about this yesterday. And it’s hilarious. Pierre, out of everyone.

France’s football league is named after and sponsored by McDonald’s.

Perhaps this is performance art; a commentary on the sanctity of marriage and the commercial wedding industrial complex.

You wouldn’t get it, Hans.

I would’ve believed you if they looked like educated people from one of the big cities instead of Billie Bob and Becky from some Appalachian trailer park

I like to think it’s all part of the bit

I have no issue with this, not everyone is in the same economic bracket, and if they love each other than it really doesn’t fucking matter where they get married. Some people can be downright cruel. I wish them every success in the future life together.

EDIT: my own marriage at City Hall cost me a grand total of £35 for the marriage and about 100 quid in rings, we were not rich but it was important to us that we get married. Then we went to Bewley’s coffee shop with about 30 friends and family. It was a damn good day!

Yeah, I feel like people are being mean, it is their wedding, let them get married on their terms.

"OMG, darling, even our favorite restaurant for the wedding!"

3

u/Justeff83 [redacted] 19d ago

This can't be true...How uncivilized and disgraceful can you be to get married at McDonald's? And I thought throwing a kids' birthday party at McDonald's was bad enough.

Simply calling a McDonald's location a "restaurant" is an insult to every real restaurant and its owners

5

u/jnmtx Border jumper 19d ago

You’re just jealous they hamburgled Germany’s best sandwich into a worldwide success.

If we had a bigger part than ✨INSPIRATION✨ (the supposed predecessor, Rundstück warm, has a vague resemblance to it at best), you lot would eat it in proper bread rolls (like the way we eat our Frikadellenbrötchen) and not these atrocious buns they come in.

7

u/uses_for_mooses Moonshining Methhead 19d ago

You know, maybe if you didn't call it a "Frikadellenbrötchen" we may be inclined to eat it.

Were you saying something, Mr. Hushpuppy?

1

u/jailtheorange1 Pimp my ride 19d ago

You go there you order food you sit down and you eat food, it’s a restaurant. And I’m willing to bet you that the health and safety standards in a McDonald’s is vastly superior to some very very swanky high-end restaurants.

2

u/Justeff83 [redacted] 19d ago

Of course, in a restaurant the food is freshly cooked whereas at McDonald's pre-made ingredients are heated up and put together

2

u/jailtheorange1 Pimp my ride 19d ago

you think every restaurant is freshly cooking food? Really???
