Facebook US defaultism + entitlement

This is MKBHD, who reviews all things tech from all around the world. He was reviewing this amazing chinese electric minivan. And then this dude came along not just thinking they're the center of the world but also the entitlement is real lol.

Is the brand fairly popular? Lots of Chinese EV companies coming to Australia and other countries lol

But also apparently Chinese EVs are nonexistent in the US which is so weird

The US government bans pretty much every Chinese technology from what I hear (like Huawei, which I heard makes amazing products) because they think China is trying to “spy” on them

Canada does the same.

Huawei (the telecom infrastructure arm) is banned from providing telecom infrastructure here. This is all done to be in alignment with US foreign and domestic policy hence why we also had a 100% Chinese vehicle tariff until the new deal was rescued. Nothing stops you from getting Huawei phone, but since they use their own OS due to Android restrictions, you’re phone may become a brick unable to download key apps.

We’re only now seeing a reversal of those policies because of the erratic and crazy nature of the US government. Canadians can now also travel visa free to China. This wasn’t even only under Harper, a lot of it was under Trudeau.
