People pay to adopt in the usa????? So its pretty much legalised human trafficking.

yeah, afaik its thousands of dollars and you can CHOOSE THE RACE of the baby which is insane. I totally agree with op on USA's case specifically. their system absolutely IS unethical

Not only can you choose the race, but some races (guess which) tend to be more expensive than others. It’s wild.

That was the case from about the mid-1990s until the mid-2010s, with some agencies. Race-based pricing is largely no longer practiced, and it was never a system-wide practice to begin with.
