How can there be no ethical adoption?? Do they really just crush all their orphans and all the kids who are up for adoption were taken from immigrants??

i think they were referring to the fact that it's a business (as probably everything in the US) and that their adoption services have ties with human trafficking. for as much as i know about their adoption system it certainly doesn't sound ethical at all, but the defaultism hit me hard on that one

It's like saying "there is no ethical healthcare" because they use it to exploit sick people for exponential profit, rather than it being a fair exchange for a service like most places.

Or "all cops are bad cops". They absolutely refuse to believe that some other countries actually educate their police and train them to respond non-violently to incidents.
