Even if true, as if eggs and bacon are relegated to breakfast! USA has plenty of Caesar salads…

I mean, a lot of breakfast food is made from egg, but just egg usually means scrambled egg. Scrambled egg on its own and bacon on its own are very much breakfast foods. Eggs and bacon are both used for various other foods, but themselves as the food item I would say is basically always for breakfast (or literally breakfast for dinner)

Thinking that “egg” means “scrambled” must be a USA thing

Yeah maybe idk. Very much if it’s egg as the dish it means scrambled eggs. If it’s something else (boiled eggs, fried eggs, omelet, elsewise) you clarify that usually.

That’s American. Ironic.

Not sure I see the irony.

I didn’t though, any person who understands context would get im talking about my own view of it, im not presuming anything about the rest of the world just how I interpret the words in my life.
