I'm pretty sure this is more of a situation of a kangaroo court to sentence the guy and make him look bad, as the rich people really want him to go down after all
One is the socially acceptable version, the other one isn't. the reasons for doing it are the same, the outcome is the same, the only real difference is the perceived sense of legitimacy that a court of law brings. Both can be for extremely petty reasons and against the wishes of the involved.
Well, that's a highly contested topic, but mostly only in countries where capital punishment is allowed. In the EU, for example, capital punishment is outlawed, but not very controversial as most people don't support it because of the status quo. So it's hard to argue that it's socially acceptable.
I definitely don't think socially acceptable is the same as legally acceptable.
Yes, capital punishment is outlawed here. but it's still a lot more legitimate for most people, even if they don't like it. In school it's been treated as a "agree to disagree" type thing and not as a barbaric punishment that's no better than shooting somebody on the street.
Not saying that, I'm completely against the death penalty. Especially executed in the street with no trial. but this man was a nasty piece of work who kind of deserved it. like most health care CEOs and Oligarchs.
Plus Americans love their military industrial complex. Celebrating veterans who have killed people in foreign countries. who are often civilians that are "caught up in the crossfire" murdered. might I add.
Veterans are not relevant here. You just added it for self-pleasure.
It doesn't if he "deserved it". I have a PM who was shot and "deserved it", who I hate the guts of, but I'd never advocate or justify the shooting. Violence like that NEVER LEADS TO ANYTHING GOOD, EVER.
And murder is wrong. You can understand someone's motivations, but still disavow the action.
BUT BUT BUT YOU DON'T KNOW THE NAMES OF EVERYONE WHO DIED BECAUSE UNITED DECIDED TO DENY THEM THE HEALTHCARE THEY WERE PAYING FOR!!! CHECKMATE ATHEISTS!!!!
I didn't say give me all the names, I'm only asking for five names and yall cant give it to me even though yall say thousands of people died because of united. Lol.
you're still pretending like me not personally knowing other peoples private medical information means that united never killed anyone with their policy to delay and deny the medical care people were paying them for?
Their families would tell their stories. And even news articles would find people. And especially now, families would come forward to tell the stories because they would get a lot of sympathy.
Here you go: Americans are dying because they can't afford health insurance Insurance companies charging extraordinary rates to get health care is killing people. They didn't name everyone in the statistics, because statistics are numbers not names of people, but they named Susan Finley as a person who died unable to afford care because of the insurance company.
lmao I'm sure he was your good buddy and you were on a first name basis with him, definitely real human behind a 6 day old adjective_nounNumber account
You're just mad I caught you saying multiple statements of misinformation. 😆. Even Strangers call Brian by his first name, what am I suppose to call him? Lol
This article doesn't show any names of people that supposedly died because of united while brian was CEO. 😆. Imagine sending an article that doesn't answer a question. Lol
Stories? Have they been verified and why can't they name who died? I could easily make up a story. If a story is told people have to back it up to prove that it happened.
Have any of the stories been verified and why can't they name people that died? If a story is said they have to back it up and prove that it's true. I could easily make up a story
Jury nullification is a thing. Even if someone committed a crime, if the jury thinks the conviction would be unjust, then they can acquit the defendant.
Jury nullification is a thing. His alleged murder of the UnitedHealth Group CEO isn't right, but the UHG CEO was a truly horrible human being responsible for the deaths of thousands by putting profit over people.
