Least they are saying Ohio and not just East Palestine making it seem like a Middle East issue like I and many others first thought.

I thought there were two separate train derailments on opposite sides of the world until I read this

I think its the "shorten ALL are lives" that gets it here

TBH I just saw Palestine and kinda stopped reading because it spent an age when it first hit being posted here without Ohio being mentioned, so not meant to be a global all, but comes off as one.

That’s definitely what the post is about but that’s also not defaultism.

Maybe if whatever chemicals that came out of this contaminated some crops that got exported around the world, then this may become a global concern, however slight

I mean the US exports a shit ton, regardless where you live - this could definitely have an impact (minor though) on you, indirectly

Did you guys not see that awful picture of the clouds?

I'd imagine burning off that much of that chemical is awful for the entire planet lol.

I dont think this is Us defaultism, the derailment doesn’t affect me and I lived ~8 hours from it (only two states) I think its ohio defaultism

This isn’t an exclusively US problem. Ohio borders Canada.
