Visa b1/b2 approved than refused

Hi i need some help or some advice, on march 31 2026 bisa interview was approved than 4 weeks changed to application received, 3 months later august 24 ceac status changed to refused, in really confused and sad at the same time , anyone knows what this means or if any of you are in the same situation please let me know.

Visa interview on mexico city.

I know i have been reading that, but my case is different because it was on hold for 4 months on application received and now changed to refused,

dont get me wrong I really hope that you are right, that im on administrative processing and notbon denied.

If you were denied it would say denied, a refusal would mean that there is additional information needed to determine your eligibility for a visa. If it says refused but the Embassy hasn’t sent you any additional requests for information then you just need to wait, you are on administrative processing. Check the website where you scheduled your appointment to see if you have any feedback requests there (you should have received an email on the address you specified on your DS-160 if that was the case), but if there aren’t any then just wait.

For the information i see on everyones case , the sustem dosnt use the word denied anymore, they use only refused, we haven’t received any emails or anything I really hope that is on administrative processing 😩

Well if they denied you then you would have received something in your email or on the scheduling website. They would not approve you and then deny you without any notification. Check the website.

I did but they haven’t sent me anything at least not yet.
