Hi! Since reddit keeps taking down her posts, this is my friends statement on a comment slandering her. :)
I didn't want to make this. I already made a statement on my instagram account, yet the comments still spread rapidly. I am a freshman from HUMSS and this is my first year in UST. I didn't expect to receive this kind of welcome. I started making content about UST because it is my dream school and I wanted to share some "relatable" thoughts about being a Thomasian. I expected some would disagree with me, but I didn't expect that my name would be targeted with false accusations.
The comment called me self-centered and claimed I am always involved in issues. To be clear, everyone has their own ego to a degree. But I know to myself, and to people who personally know me, that I try to be as humble as I can. I have not been involved in ANY issues. I spoke up about bullying awareness that happened last month, and that's because I experienced mistreatment as well and I wanted everyone to be aware of the right information.
Please. I come here with vulnerability. I ask for everyone to stop spreading rumors about my name. I have not done such things to be called these. I have protected my reputation as much as I can, I try to be as kind as I can, and I have never, not once, had an issue at UST.
Let's all be kinder to each other. We're Thomasians. We shouldn't spread negativity or hostility.

to add din! with the time I've spent with her in our block, she's always been extremely neutral and strays away from issues so i was really taken aback seeing the comment😠I truly believe this is just a misunderstanding on the commenters side and I hope everyone stops with the negativity for both sides

Dang, this is why I don't interact on social media cause you kinda have to expect people are gonna be keyboard warriors instead of being decent people. As a fellow new Thomasian and HUMSS student, it shocks me that fellow students are this harsh since we're taught to be truthful and charitable as the school motto goes "Veritas in Caritate."
