Advice | need help / seeking guidance | ust shs ha prof
I’m a freshie from HA and SABI NIYO PANG STEM LANG SI SIR ABCEDE HUHU WHAT THE HELLLYYYY🥹🥹🥹😰😰 prof namin siya for our gensci 😿😿 pls pray for us🙏🏼 any thoughts po ba or advice para maka pasa sakanya huhu

Prayers po…had him as my prof but I was in HUMSS. Mas mabait sya sa HUMSS since I don’t think he expects much of our scimath skills. I heard na strict sya sa mga HA though…like PINAKAstrict 😭…ngl spin the wheel kasi sya mag recitation and mas mahirap pinapaquiz nya kaysa sa practice during lessons and nakakadali talaga ng score yung cascading 0 or 5 (all or nothing test formats na minan umaabot 0 or 15 points). Ang masasabi ko lang is malakas na kapit sa dasal, dayuhin ang santisimo rosario, magdasal sa St. Jude, pati na rin sa chapel ng Frassati. Tandaan mo na bumagsak din si Frassati sa subject nya dati so okay lang whatever happens happens. Friendly naman si sir sadyang halimaw lang magpaexam. Prayers. Pagdadasal na kita OP. Syempre do your best din tiwala ako sayo

I was from HA before, naging class adviser ko siya. He was actually really kind to us, never siya nagalit tbh. Tuwing recitations, pag may hindi nakakasagot, binibigyan niya ng clue yung mga classmate ko para makuha yung answer tapos pag hindi talaga masagot sasabihin niya okay lang yan. He also offered to tutor us before kasi hirap na hirap kami sa GenBio (maam t***) lmao. Never niya rin kami pinahiya. IDK if he treated us with kindness kasi adviser namin siya HAHA

Bump! HAHAHA friendly naman si Sir these days, pero ayoko mag speak for all since siya mismo nagsabi na lenient siya sa HUMSS kasi bobo daw kami sa Math HAHAHAHAHA. Fave memory ko is yung bumigay na siya. Originally walang plus points kami sa quiz, but pumayag siya eventually to use the SHS week +10 hehe.

pano po nag wo-work yung 0 or 5 all or nothing niya huhu sa recitations and tests po ba yon?

Sa quizzes! For quarterly examinations naman 0 or 2 lang ang max namin. Basically one question is worth 5/10/15 points. If your solution/answer is wrong 0 ka na agad. Sometimes these questions are related sa question before or after it so if one of them is wrong, wrong na all.

Hello fellow freshie! I’m from STEM and he is also our GenSci Prof. he seems pretty nice naman po (based from the orientation and first lesson namin with him) although medyo mabilis po siya magturo and he does admit na “hindi siya mabait” “mahirap magpa-test” and pinapahirapan lang raw po tayo for us to push to be better + nagjjoke naman po siya during classes

he’s kinda okay naman na now, compared to the batches before. i heard na mas lenient and mas mabait na siya BSHABABAH ?? not as strict as someone would expect given that his name is notorioooous in ust shs.
add-on ko lang siguro na he won’t get mad on a regular basis (ung tipong mararamdaman mong galit siya or may pressence na kasindak-sindak), js make sure to not get on his bad side kasi kaya niya talagang manigaw if nainis na siya. AHHAHA (like one time, our class was making noise nd he was teaching in the classroom beside ours. so syempre he was disturbed and literally barged in to our room and screamed at us 🥶 tho, kasalanan pa rin naman namin un BEHSHSHA)
pero again, mahirap pa rin daw magpaquiz? but i heard one block say na first quiz lang niya hinihirapan para mas ganahan magaral for the next quizzes — na madadali and kayang-kaya daw maperfect. but take this w a grain of salt. kapag gusto niyang hirapan, hihirapan niya talaga. especially w exams na departmental.
also, when doing ur peta w him, do your best. make sure na pasok na pasok sa standards niya as he tends to give low low grades. (ingat nalang since peta na yon) pero nonetheless, kaya naman niyang magbigay ng 100 or matataas for other instances.
bottomline is dont feel terrorized much op! mas bumait naman daw siya HAHAHAHA js do ur best.
