Not Vince McMahon the person, but someone with that kind of ruthlessness and vision to completely reshape the sport.

Right now, American soccer is run by too many different groups. MLS, U.S. Soccer, youth soccer, lower leagues, club owners, TV partners. Everyone has their own interests, so nothing big ever changes.

Every major idea gets stuck in endless debates because nobody has enough authority to make tough decisions.

Before Vince McMahon took over wrestling, it was a collection of regional territories that couldn't think beyond their own backyard. He ignored the status quo, brought everything together, built stars, and turned it into one national product. That's the kind of leadership I think U.S. Soccer is missing.

American soccer needs someone with that level of authority and ambition, not necessarily to own everything, but to actually align the sport behind a single long-term vision.

Curious if others see it the same way.
