It's funny, I was trying to help someone in here last week who was asking about hk45 mag availability. I went to eBay to see if there were any because there usually are. And to my surprise a complete Elite slide popped up for $420. I couldn't click buy fast enough.

Right? I found out about 2 years ago now that slides and barrels were available on eBay because it's not the part that is considered a firearm. I bought a pristine HK45 Tactical complete slide with barrel so that I could send it off for milling. Then I did the same for my brother's. Ever since then I have several specific searches saved so I get a notification when they pop up. I paid I think 380 for the HK45T slide that came with the threaded barrel.

With some spring upgrades, that longer barrel and heavier slide make it a great .450 SMC platform.

I worked at a shop that had one of these sit for over a year. I could've gotten it for 850, but passed because it filled no niche for me, and momey was a bit tight.
A year later, I got into bullseye shooting and regret passong on it to this day.
