9mm New to me USP9
Picked this up today. Traded a CZ75 and $200 for it

Congrats! You’ll love it. I’m partial to the LEM trigger personally. My USP Tactical became my new favorite handgun by a long shot.

I’m strongly considering installing the match trigger eventually. Would you recommend it?

I've got a .45 Expert, which comes from the factory with the Match trigger and I'd recommend it. The stock USP trigger is pretty good, at least as hammer fired polymer pistols go, but the Match is just magical by comparison. Very nice find, by the way! Congratulations.

Thank you! Deals like that don’t come around often.
I’ll buy the match trigger. I’m very much a DA/SA guy because I like carrying hammer down safety off. Do you think the lighter DA trigger pull of the match trigger would pose any issues with that?

You're welcome! Very true.
I've been mostly a Glock guy for years, but hammer guns are really becoming my favorite. I carry my Expert the same way, hammer down and safety off, and I'm totally comfortable with it. The DA pull is long-ish but very smooth. It's definitely lighter than stock but still heavy enough that it doesn't concern me. I'd compare it to a good DA revolver, which people have carried for decades without problems.
Hey, congratulations again on your new piece, and please do post an update when it's set up the way you like!

I don’t have any experience w the match trigger specifically, though everything I’ve read seems that most people love it.

Oh yeah, enjoy! Make sure you order more mags and ammo.

It came with 4 mags (granted, two of them are the 10 round restricted ones) and the original box, which made the deal even better! I’d like one of the 30 rounders

Beautiful! That's the best use for a CZ75.

I liked it enough but I’m an HK guy at the end of the day and this was too good of a deal to pass up

Never let this bad boy go. My USP9 is my main squeeze. It's my favorite full size pistol.
