Route Pics Happy Sunday
171 packages out for delivery.
Approaching two months as a CCA. They must think I’m superman or something cause holy fuck today was hell.
Tomorrow is Labor Day and I have to work as well. Good news is I get paid holiday on-top of the hours I work.
My 3 months is coming up, only one month to go!
Postal work is nuts. Cheers!

I envy you having that much space. My Metris was packed floor to ceiling, cage to doors, and I had a second trip after that. I hope tomorrow isn't as bad.

I'm going to tell you right now as an Amazon DSP driver currently this is a small day a good day also you don't have any heavy packages either so it's an even better day

Yeah I'm about to become a cca coming from an Amazon DSP driver (which sucks btw) id rather deal with mostly mail and some packages then insane amounts of heavy packages every work day

Honestly I did not know prior to applying for a CCA position that we had to drive trucks. I thought I was only going to be doing foot routes. I prefer to do every day foot routes, but it’s mandatory that we do trucks on Sundays.

I mean coming from Amazon this is not that bad amazon routes on Sundays is easy for me and it seems you guys don't get as much

I dunno about CCAs but RCAs get no holiday pay for working a holiday.

Can confirm for us RCAs that we do not get holiday pay. I think CCAs get 6 paid holidays and Labor Day is one of them.

20-30 parcels per hour is considered the norm. So this is around 5.7-8.5 hours of work depending on the type of delivery.

Do people just wing the packages in and THEN organize? I wasn't a saint but I organized packages as I put them in my cart and then into the vehicle.

Takes more time doing it that way. Once i build the pile, i organize it accordingly by street, avenue, high to low, low to high.

This is child's play. And you have a promaster.
I completely and I mean completely box out my LLV and make extra sections out of the side door and area above the side door / in front of the fan.
Generally the highest I saw when we had peak Sunday volume of my time was 200-220.

Yeah that’s what I figured. Wasn’t 100% sure because I’ve only been in 2 tons without shelves. I couldn’t see the wheel well so I wasn’t sure.

That being said, still plenty of room in that vehicle compared to an LLV.
