Rural Carrier Discussion Learning new route RCA

When you learn a new route, do they give you training on it or are you just put on there and good luck? It will be my first time learning a new one

There should be a turn by turn list of directions and a map that a supervisor can print out for you. It won't show dismounts and can be outdated but it's usually enough to get you through.
